Reporting to:
Branch Maintenance Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
·        Provide leadership and direction to shop employees in daily shop activities.
·        Plan and organize daily activities of shop employees to maintain consistent work flow and meet deadlines.
·         Interact with customers to answer queries and maintain positive customer relations.
·         Provide technical support and direction to resolve technical problems and issues

Education/Experience/Skills
·         Current provincial or interprovincial Mechanic’s license an asset.  
·        A minimum of 2 years’ Ryder experience, preferably with previous experience in directing others in maintenance activities.
·        PC literacy and knowledge of reefer systems is preferred.
·        Strong communications and customer relations skills.
·        Proven capability to plan and organize tasks; good time management skills.
