Job Description Human Resources Manager of Southwestern Ontario & Western Canada

This position can be done at any one of our locations across Western Canada or Southwestern Ontario.   
Key Job Functions
Assist in the development, implementation and governance of programs and processes in the areas of recruitment, selection, utilization, development and compensation of employees; implement best practices within region to ensure the competitiveness of such programs.

Provide counsel and recommend action plans addressing labour relations and employee relations issues within the region.

Assist in the development and implementation of health and wellness programs including disability management, EAP and benefits programs; provide counsel regarding health and wellness issues.

Participate in the pre-qualification of new business opportunities, review process, support sales and operations management within the regions in new business development with expertise.

Education/Skills

Post secondary education in Business or Human Resources Management.

Previous 3 to 5 years experience in a multi-site HR generalist capacity – including recruitment, employment law, compensation, training and labour/employee relations are required.

High level of organization, deal with ambiguity.

Literacy using PC applications (Windows).

Travel required
