General Private Investigator Qualifications
Are you looking for a career and not just a job? If you are honest, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and a desire to excel, we would like to meet with you. We are a Private Investigation firm based in Greater Vancouver with offices in Kelowna, Victoria and Nanaimo that conducts insurance claims investigations, theft investigations, background investigations, and VIP security details.
We are looking for experienced investigators to conduct surveillance and investigations involving workers' compensation, general liability, and disability claims. A working knowledge of Windows 98 or 2000 and Microsoft Office applications and a typing ability of approximately 30 words per minute. Strong report writing and documentation skills are essential. Private investigator license will be required along with a good driving record and clear criminal record.
Position: Surveillance Operative
Directly responsible for the completion of field investigations concurrent to the client's objectives and the company's quality. Availability to work cases at any given time during the day, evenings, and weekends is essential. Travel may be required on overnight assignments. Responsibility for obtaining quality video, producing accurate reports, daily updates, and other paperwork. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with Clients, Supervisors and staff at Head Office.
Position: General Investigator
Conducting interviews, locating witnesses, and background investigations. Availability to work cases at any given time during the day, evenings, and weekends is essential. Travel may be required on overnight assignments. This position requires a individual with a strong insurance background or Police experience.
Position: File Manager
This position will require excellent customer services skills and an ability to bring in and manage your own files. The successful applicant will be expected to manages 3 - 4 investigators and a 40 file case load.
